Onyx Path have their latest Scion RPG up on Kickstarter. The series of RPGs is set at different power levels on the way up from “chosen one” to “god” with projects like Dragon thrown in to keep things really interesting. Needless to say, Scion: Demigod is for when player characters have hit demigod tier and can either move forward to godhood or risk stop moving at all.
Richard Thomas and crew have built up a solid reputation for products and well-run Kickstarter projects. The campaign asks for $35,000 to fund a print run and supplements, as the book is written, and within days it has over $100,000 pledged. A pledge of $5 gets you access to the preview manuscript in December and the pledge manager; the idea here is if you like the build process, you can upgrade and buy the full game later.
Or, jump straight to $20, still get the manuscript access but also get the Scion: Demigod PDF in May 2022 when it comes out. Yes, 2022.
For $5 more, you get that and get an at-cost print-on-demand coupon.
