Tite Kubo might be best known for Bleach, but fans are getting pretty excited over the writer’s next anime.
Burn the Witch is set in London, a city in which people are killed by dragons. Those are dragons that most people can’t see, not unless they’re also residents of Reverse London.
Burn the Witch was a limited run in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and it only had four chapters.
The latest trailer for the anime visits many of the scenes in those four chapters. The plan by Crunchyroll is to take the feature-length anime movie and break it into episodes for streaming.
The witches the story focuses are Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They both work for the Wing Bind, an organisation responsible for management and conservation of those dragons on behalf of the people of London.
