The official website for the forthcoming horror anime Jujutsu Kaisen is up and running a new trailer.
In this set of clips, there seems to be a whole load of fighting. Perhaps that nudges Jujutsu Kaisen back a bit closer to the mainstream. However, Sunghoo Park, the director, did such an excellent job with the fighting in The God of High School I’m not unduly alarmed.
The concept behind is that negative emotions create curses, and once a curse becomes a real thing, then it takes another curse to fight it off. As a result, the group of people who take on these manifest curses are people with a curse of their own.
The show follows Itadori Yuji as he gets involved in this world. The odd thing about Yuji is that despite living as a normal schoolboy, he has incredible physical strength.
The show starts in Japan on October 2nd and will be streamed by Crunchyroll on the same day. It’s absolutely going on my watch list.
