The Indie Game Developer Network is a volunteer trade organisation that supports indie game designers in the tabletop RPG space, card games, LARPs and board games.
The group runs the Indie Groundbreaker Awards and the Diversity Sponsorship. The latter of which has opened for 2020 applications.
IGDN will pick eight applicant designers, each will get mentorship from an IGDN member for free months and one-one-one meetings with Eric Lang, Shanna Germain the co-founder of Monte Cook Games, and Banana Chan of Game and a Curry. The group will help organise one playtest of your game and funds raised by the sponsorship will be split equally between all eight.
How much money does the sponsorship bring? That depends on how much it raises but, as noted above, each successful applicant will get 1/8th. The goal is to make sure that’s at least $1,000.
You can donate to the sponsorship through PayPal.
Alternatively, you can apply to recieve the sponsorship through this Google form.
