Dark World Studios have taken their grimdark Acheron to Kickstarter. Geek Native has been tracking the project since the free to download beta and can confirm how deadly the setting is.
It’s an ambitious project with a $40,000 goal but will be producing hardbacks and dice with worldwide shipping. It’s just launched, has the first initial backers and you can follow the progress here.

The pitch video explains the breach in the wall and what happened to create a society in which the government “controlled” history. This oppressive Government has felt their grip weaken, anarchists are carving out enclaves, powerful families are jostling for even more power, and the Church is locked in a battle with Cults.
A pledge of $25 will get you the PDF, a thank you in the book, and all digital stretch goals up to The Hunter’s Guide.
To get the hardback, you need to step up to $60. That single tome has the players guide, the GM’s guide, bestiary and pre-generated characters, so it’s a comprehensive one.
The exclusive dice and bag come from tiers above $100, along with the hardback.
