Can you design spooky adventures?
Following on from Manticore’s successful PAX presence and the $20,000 D&D adventure design competition there’s now a Halloween contest.
As before, the prizes will go to people who use Core’s system to design adventures and computer game words. You can find the Spooky Jam details on a standalone microsite, and you have until October 26th to enter.
There are five different categories you can enter your chilling creations;
- Twisted Fairytales
- Haunted Abodes
- Sci-Fi Horror
- Secure, Create, Protect
- Halloween Celebration
The software to build these adventures is free to download and there a Discord server to ask questions.
The judges are looking for complete games, not just scenes, and will be awarding points for aesthetic appeal and interactivity.
Manticore, the company behind Core, has an agreement with Wizards of the Coast and the platform can be used for D&D adventures.
