Imaginarium Games is gearing up for a Savage Worlds Adventure Edition Kickstarter.
The project is The Secret Files of Section D which takes an alternative history approach to a cryptid infested 1930s.
In The Secret Files of Section D, Nazi pseudoscience is real, so are monsters like the Yeti and Sasquatch, magic and miracles exist, Mummies are buried deep for a reason, and the aliens are here.
The British Secret Intelligence Service set up Section D in response. This highly secretive unit has recruited agents of many different nationalities and with a range of abilities that are beyond the average person.
The taster PDF for the setting is currently available for free at DriveThruRPG, weighs in at 99 pages and is in place to help support the launch of the Kickstarter.
A full introduction to Section D and its history is found in the Taster download. That’s in addition to examples of Savage Worlds Edges and Hindrances that can be given to agents, weapons and gear available to Section D, some pre-generated characters and an adventure called Trouble in Tripoli.
Supporting this main freebie are several others. Imaginarium Games have provided free Section D Character Sheets designed by Allan Wroe along with virtual tabletop Trouble in Tripoli maps.
