You cannot kill what doesss not live – but you can put it on your shelf, according to the press release we received from 2000 AD about this action figure of the fabulous undead fiend we all love.
I mean, LOOKIT HIM!!! This six-inch articulated action figure of Judge Death is coming in 2024 from Hiya Toys, and he comes with “a bonanza of accessories inspired by the original comics” – making it something pretty damn special if you’re a fan of the comics!
The figure is based on the iconic Judge Death character design and art by co-creator Brian Bolland, along with the work of artists Cliff Robinson and Garry Leach.
It feels like a lot of love went into this hyper-detailed figure that comes with all-new accessories and materials, including interchangeable heads and hands, and fabric clothing.
But that’s not all! He’s got 18 points of articulation, plus extras including five pairs of alternate hands, three alternate faces, two alternate necks, a replacement head, a sinister hourglass, a skull, a human heart, two dimension jump globes and a trail of ectoplasm from when Death is in his ‘spirit’ form – because of course you couldn’t forget that last part! Wow.
I’m not sure I’ve heard of an action figure this cool.
Pre-orders for this very special figure launched on June 30th, and is expected to reach retailers in the final quarter of this year.
