One of the most recent Gimmick Tees designs caught my attention. We’re in their usual mashup territory here, Space Invaders and The Watchmen. Who knows? Perhaps this little fellow will feature in the controversial Watchmen prequel?
A Mindjammer review
I like the science in science fiction. That’s why I like sci-fi, especially gritty sci-fi but rarely those stories set so far in the future that technology seems like magic. Mindjammer is a far future sci-fi. Mankind has explored all across the universe and populated many planets. The expansion fragmented and mankind was left to […]
Wizards without Coats: Chainmail
And all I got was this stupid t-shirt, er, sorry. All I got was this stupid chainmail shirt!
Guerilla art with magic mushrooms
This clever bit of art – ambushing a supermarket’s mushroom display with Nintendo character art – is the work of Aiden Glynn. This is geeky and cute so reaches level two on the native geek scale.
Short film: Malaria
Malaria from Edson Oda on Vimeo. You’re an assassin hired to kill Death. What could go wrong? Here’s another challenge. You want to film a comic book but you don’t want to do an animation. Hundreds of tiny Pokemon
On Imgur, Reddit’s favourite picture sharing site, you can find an album filled with all 151 of the original Pokemon. They’ve been made by hand. What’s even more impressive that each one is small enough to sit on a penny. That’s why Ninjazzy, who created them, calls them pennymon. They’re tiny and still cute.
Level 1 snow zombies
Via The Daily Mail. Oh dear, snow zombies and a reference back to the Daily Mail. There is hope at hand. If you’re using Chrome then this add-in might increase your defence score to three. That’s an ideal way to help protect yourself from trolls.
Gundam diorama: After Air Strikes
There’s no doubting the quality around this Gundam diorama. We can see from the photo that it’s called “After Air Strikes”. However, it was shared on a pin board that does not seem to favour attribution so finding out the creator will take a little bit more research.
