About the Author

Alan Martin is the co-creator of Tank Girl (along with artist Jamie Hewlett), and writer of the first three Tank Girl graphic novels. He lives in the UK.

Rufus Dayglo — his real name — is a British artist whose work includes Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog for 2000 ADTank Girl: Visions of Boogas and Snakedfor IDW and concept art for Metal Gear Solid

    Lustigerweise habe ich dieses Buch zweimal...
    Erst hatte ich es über amazon bestellt...und nachdem es versandt wurde, bin ich über die Seite des Zeichners, Rufus Dayglo, gestolpert, wo dieser ebenfalls das Buch zum Verkauf, allerdings mit personalisierter Skizze vom ihm, anbot. Wann hat man schonmal die Chance etwas vom Zeichner zu bekommen? *-*
    Das Buch von Amazon konnte ich nicht mehr stornieren (da bereits auf dem Weg zu mir), zurückschicken wollte ich es aber letztendlich auch nicht. Jetzt hab ich eins was ich immer wieder lesen kann und eines, was geschont wird :D
    Die Leimung der Seiten ist allerdings nicht besonders gut, da bereits beim lesen die ersten Seiten sich so nach und nach lösten und ich mir extra Buchbind-Leim besorgte, um die Seiten wieder einzukleben.
    Die Story ist gut geschrieben, wie man es von den anderen TG-Stories aus Alan's Feder kennt und gewohnt ist... und die Zeichnungen sind allesamt klasse umgesetzt. Rufus ist, neben TG-Mitbegründer Jamie Hewlett, einer meiner liebsten TG-Zeichner.
    Wer sich unschlüssig ist, ob er sich Bad Wind Rising zulegen sollte oder nicht: Kauft es, ihr werdet es sicher nicht bereuen :D hurhur~
