Magic 2014: Duels of the Planeswalkers gameplay
Wizards of the Coast are keeping their online efforts for Magic: The Gathering going. This year they face competition from the team behind Minecraft as their new game, Scrolls, treads deeply into the M:tG’s ground. The 2014 version of Duels of the Planeswalkers lets you customise and build your own decks. It even has the […]
Sharing games on PS4
This is an actual video from PlayStation. It’s been seen by about 4 million people and that’s taken just one day to happen. The video demonstrates how you can share games with the PS4. Let’s me clear about this; Sony is pitching this straight at gamers and poking Microsoft in the eye at the same […]
Sushiwoks – rising to the challenge with sushi Ewoks
LydMc, a deviant artist of talent, had a challenge on her hands when she had to follow friends and host a Star Wars night. The night in question was the Return of the Jedi, the first two hosts having already done some fab thematic food. You can follow LydMc’s solution on her blog and discover […]

A review of 009 Re: Cyborg
009 Re: Cyborg is an anime from Ghost in the Shell’s Kenji Kamiyama and Production I.G. I watched it here in Edinburgh, on a big cinema screen, as it’s the debut title from new Scottish based anime distributor Anime Limited. In short; it’s a cracking film, thoroughly engaging and blisteringly contemporary. Then it stops and […]
Wizards without Coats: Girlfriend issues
< PreviousWizards without Coats Next > GM: “You see 5 ogres minding their own business, discussing pacifism…” Player (interrupting): “I attack!” Yeah, on review, that may have been a girlfriend issue inspired decision. Silly boy.
Cthulhu Brown
As funny as Charlie Brown? I think so! Certainly more odd funny. Who wouldn’t want a beagle from beyond time and space? I’m reminded of this Snoopthulhu and H.P. Lovebrown design. Hat tip to WeeGamers for the find.
