https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/513277403/alien-vs-predator-the-miniatures-game/ [Back this Campaign] When I first heard there was an Alien vs Predator board game on Kickstarter my very first thought was; “How did they get permission?” I asked about the pitch video and was answered with a shrug and a comment about there not really being a pitch video of note. I had […]

Striking Nel cosplay
Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, aka Nel, is a female Arrancar from the anime series Bleach. She’s a former member of the Espada, once having held the rank of number three. She has two forms; a child form and her adult form. Both have the cracked skull, her hollow mask, on her head. The cosplayer here is Twinkle […]

James runs Vigilance Press and is in the final week of a successful Kickstarter for the Wuxia RPG Tianxia: Blood, Silk & Jade. I was asked by my friend Andrew […]

Sinister Attack on Titan t-shirt
I think Qwertee have nailed the look and feel of Attack on Titan with this t-shirt design. Called “Protect the Wall” it gets the grim feel of the Titans, a theme the anime cycles back to frequently, as well as the determination of the defenders. What do you think? Is this something you’d wear?
The dalek cake of tasty horror
This wonderful and horrible dalek cake is the work of Bleeding Heart Bakery in Chicago. It took their team more than 12 hours to make. With talent like that you would think they are rocking it? Sadly not, according to reports the bakery closed in 2012. Let their awful and delightful creations live on in […]
Disney Princesses as Final Fantasy characters
If you sent your favourite Disney princess out on a a dangerous quest what character class would she become? If you picked Final Fantasy X-2 Dress Spheres and the world of X and X2 then how would our heroes look?
The LEGO Super Mario Mushroom the size of a pumpkin
This LEGO Mushroom design was put together by Dirk VH. The resulting build uses thousands of bricks but only a few shapes. The final mushroom is about the size of a pumpkin. The time-lapse video keeps track of the bricks while sharing some Mario ‘shroom factoids. I think it’s worth a watch.
