The teaser trailer for the animated Tron series – Tron Uprising – is out. I suddenly understand why they had Bruce Boxleitner as Tron in the movie. They were thinking ahead by, er, thinking back to what they should show off the franchise in the time between Tron and Tron Legacy. The cast looks pretty […]
New Thundercats trailer
Last night over in the States and on Cartoon Network the first trailer for the new Thunderscats ran. As we’ve come to expect someone has managed to get a fairy good copy of this onto YouTube. There’s a risk it’ll be yaned but I suspect Cartoon Network will enjoy the publicity. I think it’s happily […]

James Corden will return to Doctor Who in the role of Craig Owens. The Owens character was last seen in “The Lodger” episode where the Doctor played football and dealt with mysterious disappearances connected to the upstairs apartment. The BBC said that Craig Owens proved popular with TV audiences. Who would have thought it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNcG48rxbqI […]

Kneel before ZOD (er, kitchens)
What if General ZOD made kitchens. Rather than bother Superman with general world conquering ambitions imagine that ZOD was content to build high quality kitchen units. Can you imagine that? Maybe this will help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ9yYpUooiw Makes sense. Right? You’d be certain that the workers in the kitchen unit assembly warehouse worked hard, effectively and had […]
New Heavy Metal series will be a live action
