How’s this for a Diablo III tribute? I’m so impressed by Krizdel Ingreso’s cosplay. She made this herself. All of it. The design, the structure, the point job and even the electronics to make it glow. Photography credits to Jannibee Buhat, Pefdgraphy & Elijah Alcantara.
Cosplay highlights from London Super Comic Con 2014
Sneaky Zebra make a great cosplay video. Hard to tell them apart? In this video watch for a few special effects such as the Captain America shield, my favourite, and some sweeping camera movements. It looks like Excel in London is a good venue too. It’s not so crowded you can barely move.
Sharp: X-23 cosplay and bio
This cosplay of X-23 is by KOCosplay. The costume appeared at both Katsucon 19 and NYCC last year and was built by hand with a little help from for the leather features. Winter TARDIS cosplay
Redditor Severn12 shared this collection of photographs of herself cosplaying in the snow. The design is really smart. A TARDIS design with a simply adorable time traveller’s lantern.

The great mashup above is by Brianna Cherry Garcia. It shows the fiery princess from Disney’s Brave in an unusual costume with an odd bow. As it happens; she’s dressed as The Avenger’s Hawkeye. Seems like a perfect target for cosplay. Step forward hotshot Lisa Marie Cosplay. It’s a simple but effective transformation So much […]
Rainbow Dash jousting cosplay
There was that time Rainbow Dash went jousting. Really. Check out the video below but first admire this excellent cosplay adaptation from Lady Mella. The photo by Toshiyasu Morita shows a proud and bold human Rainbow Dash. A suit of armour fit for the regal jousts of courtly entertainment.
IKEA give cosplayer a bedroom makeover
This is an ad for IKEA in Singapore. They visit Frank who is a civil servant by day and a cosplayer by night. You know what this means; no space, no space to put anything including his rather awesome costume designs. IKEA come in and re-do his bedroom. Rather than chucking all his models, anime […]
Historically accurate Disney princess cosplay
The question what if Disney princesses wore historically accurate outfits? is a popular one on this blog. We’ve had some fantastic illustrations that explore the idea. The cosplay above takes that idea and turns it into reality. Photographed by Marni Imagery there’s a collection of design talent on display here. Cinderella by: Felix (additional help […]
Double-take: Lady Venom in bodypaint
This “Lady” Venom was snapped by Yassir KetchuM. A Google search doesn’t reveal much more; don’t know who the model is or the bodypainter. What I do know is that this picture will make you double-take. It’s a clever bit of body painting and a striking design.
Chimerical Dragonfly’s Warhammer 40K armour
We’ve featured Chimerical Dragonfly here on Geek Native before in TradeCraft Bonus column. That post looked at their fantasy headgear but that’s only a fraction of what they can do. Want a custom built Warhammer 40K suit? You got it. I don’t think the design is incomplete. This style clearly invokes the iconic armour without […]
