There’s a lot going on in this short animation from AMAA Productions. Animated with LEGO Action Bill follows one busy day in the life of William Shakespeare. What happens? A couple of Star Trek captains happen, that’s what. Use this teleport link to randomly jump over to another video.
The Simpsons special: Brick Like Me
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYGSpOfIr9Y That’s right; The Simpson are doing a LEGO special and it’ll be filmed in brick. The LEGO-themed episode will air in the States, on Fox, on Sunday May 4.
Pan’s Labyrinth in LEGO
LEGO builder The Deathly Halliwell is packed with talent. He’s a builder able to engineer complex structures and bring to life fanciful visions. The Brothers Brick noticed this Pan’s Labyrinth pair. It’s the Faun and the Pale Man. Scary and good.
LEGO Nautilus prowling through the night fog
This picture is good enough to be part of a LEGO marketing campaign. Shown here is Alex Jones‘s Nautilus build – a design that’s based on the Disney version of the submarine capable of hitting 20,000 leagues under the sea. Yeah, sure, there’s just a touch of photoshop here but the night fog effect works […]
Important safety reminder: Ewoks eat people
Are they cute? Did they help kick the Empire out of their planet? Did they like the shiny C3P0? Yes and all sorts of yes. While that’s true it’s important not to forget a key characteristic Ewoks share. They eat people. This video is a timely, LEGO powered, reminder.
Smaug the Tremendous in LEGO
This Smaug is a dragon made from LEGO by Fat Tony. The design uses gold foil bought from a craft store which has had real LEGO coins pressed into to make imprints. I think the effect works wonderfully well and LEGO Smaug looks quite happy on his gold heap. Via Fat Tony’s Flickr and Geek […]
You may not believe what powers this full sized LEGO car
This LEGO car runs on air. That’s not to say it hoovers air into its engine as it drives along as the video shows canisters but it is still very impressive. It was created Steve Sammartino a marketer from Melbourne and his super clever buddy Raul Oaida. There’s more than 500,000 pieces of LEGO in […]
The Falworth dragon
LEGO builder Mark of Falworth (sometimes known as Mark Erickson) is responsible for this very clever dragon. He uses Bionicle pieces to help create a dragon that looks smooth and fleshy. This isn’t a blocky box build at all. Check out his Flickr collection.
The LEGO Super Mario Mushroom the size of a pumpkin
This LEGO Mushroom design was put together by Dirk VH. The resulting build uses thousands of bricks but only a few shapes. The final mushroom is about the size of a pumpkin. The time-lapse video keeps track of the bricks while sharing some Mario ‘shroom factoids. I think it’s worth a watch.
The Tomb of Swords in LEGO
This impressive landscape shows a tomb shaped like a giant sword set between two cliffs. A field of broken swords stretches out in front. It is the creation of skilful lego builder Lisqr who clearly as an eye for photography as well. It looks very much as if this LEGO landscape would work well as […]
