Studio Orange have made their original short animation HOME! entirely free to watch on YouTube. It’s worth it, and there are English subtitles if you select them from the cog and then the caption button.
Short film: The Rift
The short was co-produced by Attention’O’Chiens and Brunch Studio and filmed with pretty aggressive use of angles and zooms.
Short film: The Bolt Connection
You could argue there are Wizard of Oz touches here, robots and hearts, after all. But it’s more like Terminator when it comes to the murder.
Short film: Star Wars – First Day
First Day was made entirely in Unreal Engine 5, that’s generally used for computer games but, as you see here, perfectly adaptable for animation.
Short film: 1986 – Batman/Punisher
Batman meets The Punisher and a host of regular DC villains in this fan film
Short film: ROAM – Rider Of Another Mortal
Staring Josh Conner, Christie Claude and Melinda Dekay, ROAM is set in the world in which the wealthy inhabit the bodies of the young. One person, at least, is fighting back.
Short film: Dead Meat
Dead Meat is a Vancouver Film School project that Adnan Peer and Mohamed, and team worked on. It’s not a killer shark in this animation, but a cheeky seagull instead.
Short film: Human Resources of Ugago
This year your co-workers insist you have a festive occasion.
Short film: Whole New/Massara a gorgeous 7-minute anime musical
A song about chasing your dream and what it takes to continue, and it’s about overcoming shyness. It’s about friendship.
Short film: Shehr e Tabassum
War has ended in Pakistan. It’s 2071, and the country’s rules insist that everyone smiles all the time.
