Sometimes a single image can sum up a whole, complex, idea. In this case Keh Choon has an illustration of Han Solo and Chewbacca that says Tim Burton. Will we see Tim Burton produce any of the new Star Wars movies? I doubt it… but you never know.
Darth Vader from the typewriter
Created by Gabriel Dishaw and currently on sale at Etsy for $800. The helmet is made from recycled parts of typewriters, old computers and even adding machines. Dishaw calls this upcycling, which is a good word for it, and you can see more of the up-cycler’s work at his website. Via Geek Art Gallery.
Art from the never finished online Star Wars game
Star Wars: Battlefront III was nearly finished in 2010 but never made it through to production. It was developed by Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City developer’s Slant Six Games. Star Wars: Battlefront is an established game and it was the lure of possible multiplayer that got fans excited. Via Jason Williams at Geek Tyrant.

Death Star ice cubes
[I want this] Fancy a set of Death Star ice cubes as a last minute Christmas gift for someone? The image above is doing the rounds and no doubt came from some clever retailer who, rather sadly, isn’t being credited with the imagery. To the best of my knowledge, the Death Star ice cube was […]

Tron vs Darth Vader
This is a commissioned piece of art by Dha Werda Verda on deviant art. Zola, one of the two artists who run the account, expresses some regret in not asking the patron about the back story. Just why are they fighting and why is Darth Vader even there?
